Baked Buffalo Mozzarella Balls
These baked buffalo mozzarella balls are filled with ooey gooey mozzarella cheese and encrusted in a spicy buffalo and crispy panko breading for a healthier, more flavorful alternative to the classic mozzarella stick.

- 1/2 container Mozzarella Pearls Perline Sized, Drained
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Egg Whisked
- 1/2 cup Panko Breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp Buffalo Seasoning
- Hot Sauce Optional for Serving
- Ranch Optional for Serving
Preheat oven to 375° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drain mozzarella pearls and pat dry. Set aside.
Set up a dredging station. Bowl number (1) mix together 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 black pepper. Bowl number (2) whisk one egg to create an egg wash.Bowl number (3) mix together 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs and 2 tsp buffalo seasoning. Dredge your mozzarella pearls in seasoned flour, then egg wash, then seasoned panko breadcrumbs and repeat until all mozzarella pearls are coated in breading.
Place breaded mozzarella pearls on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until crispy.
Serve with hot sauce or ranch!
